As part of not only our LiveText portfolio, but more importantly, the professional website we'll eventually be developing, you will need to create a professional resume. If you already have a resume, you are certainly welcome to use the one you have as a starting point to update or redesign it. This is a critically important document that you should keep and continue to update throughout the remainder of your college career.
Locate, evaluate, and utilize web-based resources This is an important 21st Century skill - this week, you should search online for useful and relevant web resources to help inform your decisions in writing your resume. You are not required to document this process (though I encourage you to share via Twitter with our #edct hashtag if you find high quality resources that you think other might find useful). There are no points attached to this - only advice that the more you read about what makes a strong resume and the more samples you evaluate, the better your understanding will be for how to maximize the effectiveness of your own resume, specifically in your field. Job hunting is not an easy process, especially for those new to the market, so anything you can do to help yourself stand out professionally is worth your time.
This short video below will show you how to locate and customize MS Word templates for your resume (note: At the end of this video, it mentioned about uploading to the wiki, but we will actually be uploading to the Crocodoc folder).
